As a leader he definitely walks the walk. He inspires those who work with him to become the best versions of themselves.
Jonny is particularly proficient operating as an expert coach and mentor. He has guided many individuals to achieve their personal and professional aspirations, several of whom have achieved significant success in their chosen fields.”

I first met Jonny Wootton when he was coaching a young football team and I was watching as a professional scout.
It can be an environment where coaches get carried away but he was calm and controlled and his players played with so much freedom due to this.
I got to know him well after this and he was always looking at ways to improve his coaching. He would watch high-level academy games and always take notes and ask questions.
He wanted to be the best coach he could be and developed some very good players at that time.
He lead by example and his players were always immaculately behaved on and off the field.”

“I had the pleasure of working alongside Jonny in preparation for a statutory Annual Review of a young man who has complex Autism and learning difficulties. Jonny had been commissioned to provide a specialist SEND tuition. What became immediately evident was Jonny’s care, positive & nurturing approach, and ability to engage the young man with learning of basic literacy and numeracy skills in a functional way by focussing on development of independent life skills.

It should be noted that this young man required 3:1 support due to a range of complex factors, yet Jonny had very quickly developed a positive relationship with him and had managed to support this young man’s re-engagement with learning by adapting his communication style and approach to meet his complex needs associated with his Autism. Despite the young man occasionally becoming aggressive and violent, Jonny is able to adapt his approach accordingly to support the young man’s self-regulation skills.

Because of the above, I was able to gather essential information about this young man’s SEND profile and advise the Local Authority on what SEND provision were appropriate to his presenting needs.“
